So you’ve finished your Diamond Painting Project and you want to frame it. You will need to answer a few questions to determine which framing technique you would like to use.
Are you looking for a more finished/professional look? Are you giving it as a gift? Do you know what is on their walls already? For instance, I have nothing but black frames in my living room, so if I’m going to hang my diamond painting in there, then I would want a black frame.
Can it be more casual? Maybe on a canvas or foam board? You can even just put a matt around it and call it a day.
I’ve attached a couple of videos to help you decide.
Custom framing is very expensive and many of us don’t want to spend that kind of money on a project that probably has cost most of us very little. So keeping expenses down, I think putting it on canvas may be the most affordable way to get your project up on the wall.
Just remember to seal your project with Mod-podge before you hang it so the drills stay in place. I always roll a rolling pin over mine when I’m done then seal it twice – letting it fully dry between each application.
How have you framed your Diamond Painting? I know my readers will have some great tips for all of us.
